We keep our cancellation policy short, fair and the same for everyone. Please read carefully before making a booking.
Cancellation Slabs — Weekend Events
(Sahyadri treks, camping, rafting, day tours)

How to Cancel
- Email mumbaitrekizens@gmail.com from your registered email ID with your PNR.
- You will receive an acknowledgement within 4 business hours.
- Refunds will be initiated within 5 business days to the original payment source.
- Bank credit typically takes 5–10 additional working days.
Cancellations by Mumbai Trekizens
If Mumbai Trekizens cancels an event due to weather, insufficient group size, or any operational reason, you will be offered:
- 100% refund, or
- A free date-shift to any equivalent event within 12 months, or
- A credit voucher of 110% of the paid amount (valid 12 months, transferable once).
Non-refundable Situations
- Failure to carry a valid photo ID at the pick-up point
- Missing the pick-up bus / late reporting beyond the grace window
- Voluntary drop-out during the event (e.g. summit abandoned by choice)
- Ejection due to intoxication, misconduct or non-compliance with safety protocols
- Individual weather-related decision to not participate when the event is still running as scheduled
Date-Shift Terms
Each booking is eligible for one free date-shift if requested at least 7 days before the event. Subsequent shifts are subject to a nominal admin fee (₹250 per person).
Credit Vouchers
Credit vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, redeemable against any event on our website, and transferable once to a family member or friend.
