Frequently Asked Questions

Sahyadri Treks — FAQs

Everything travellers ask before booking a sahyadri treks.

Which is the best Sahyadri trek for beginners?

Lohagad + Visapur and Tikona are the two most beginner-friendly Sahyadri treks — under 3 hours ascent, wide trails, and low altitude.

What is the best time for Sahyadri treks?

October to February is the safest window. July–September offers the greenest views but is technically monsoon — book only monsoon-graded treks in that window.

How difficult is Kalavantin Durg?

Moderate. The rock-cut steps near the summit require a comfortable head for heights but no technical gear.

Do you provide transport from Mumbai?

Yes — pick-ups from Dadar, Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Thane, Airoli and Panvel are included in the price.

What should I carry on a Sahyadri trek?

Trek shoes, 2 L water, rain cover, torch, personal ID, sunscreen, and light snacks. See the packing list on each event page.

Is Sahyadri trekking safe for solo travellers?

Yes. Around 40% of our participants are solo. Our groups are small (max 20 pax) with certified leaders — safe for solo men and women alike.
