Climbing Expedition — FAQs
Everything travellers ask before booking a climbing expedition.
Do I need prior climbing experience for Lingana?
Yes — Lingana Fort requires prior rock-climbing experience. We test candidates at a bouldering wall first.
What is the difficulty grade?
Grade 5+ vertical rock. Only for climbers with a solid rappel + jumar background.
Do you provide all technical gear?
Yes — harness, jumar, descender, static rope, dynamic rope, helmet, carabiners, quickdraws. Bring your own shoes.
What if I can't complete the climb?
No shame in turning back. Our leaders will belay you down safely. Fee is non-refundable but we credit half toward another climb.
Is the Alang expedition beginner-friendly?
No — Alang requires rope-assisted movement on exposed rock. Prior technical experience mandatory.
Can women join climbing expeditions?
Absolutely — many of our best climbers are women. Fitness and prior experience are the only gates.
